Privacy Policy

GlassKit builds small, private iOS apps. This policy explains how our apps handle your information. It applies to all GlassKit apps, including Tally, Tonecraft, Interval, Murmur, Spice, Tremor, Untangle, Nocturne, Cardia, Astral, Sunchase, Fieldmark, Cueline, Whisperbox, Shroud, Squall, Ridgeline, and Capsule.

The short version

We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data. Our apps are built to run on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal information, and we do not use third‑party advertising or tracking SDKs.

Information our apps access on your device

Depending on the app, it may ask permission to use certain device features to provide its functionality. This information is processed on your device and is not sent to us:

• Health data (Tally, Nocturne, Cardia) — read from or written to Apple Health, only with your permission, to show or log your activity. It is never transmitted to us.
• Location (Tremor, Squall, Astral, Sunchase, Fieldmark, Ridgeline) — used for location‑relevant features such as nearby earthquakes, weather, the sky overhead, sun planning, or photo geotagging.
• Microphone (Tonecraft, Murmur, Cueline, Whisperbox) — used for pitch detection, voice recording/transcription, or teleprompter voice‑tracking, processed on your device.
• Camera & Photos (Astral, Sunchase, Fieldmark, Cueline, Ridgeline, Capsule, Spice) — used to capture or import images for the app's features.
• Motion (Astral, Whisperbox, Ridgeline) — used for orientation and AR features.

You can grant or revoke these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

iCloud

Some apps can store your own content in your private iCloud account so it syncs across your devices. That data is managed by Apple under your iCloud account and is not accessible to us. See Apple's privacy policy for how iCloud handles data.

Information we collect

None. We do not operate accounts or servers that collect your personal information, and we do not use third‑party analytics or advertising trackers. If you have opted in to sharing analytics with developers in iOS Settings, Apple may provide us anonymous, aggregate usage statistics that do not identify you.

Children

Our apps are not directed to children and do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy; any changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
